FRIDAY, MARCH 27th
- 5pm: DEVELOPMENTALLY SPEAKING LIVE PODCAST w/ LES THATCHER - Developmentally Speaking is the first and only podcast dedicated to the WWE developmental system and the WCW Power Plant. Host Bryan Asbury sits down with wrestling legend, Les Thatcher, for a very special LIVE episode of the fan favorite podcast.
- 6pm: SECOND GEN STARS - Pro wrestling is full of stories of men and women who followed a family member’s footsteps into the squared circle….and everything else that comes with it. We set the stage to hear three of those stories as told by Carlito, Davey Boy Smith Jr, and Jazzy Yang. (Hosted by Josh Shernoff)
- 7pm: HEELS: AFTER THE JOURNEY - A sign of pro wrestling’s growing place in pop culture, Heels hit the scene to great acclaim in 2021 on the Starz Network. Finding a new life on Netflix, the fan favorite drama stands as an excellent example of pro wrestling’s ability to crossover into other media. We’ve gathered a collection of talent from all ends of the business to discuss the prominence of women’s wrestling in today’s product, how we’ve gotten here, and where we can expect it to go with tomorrow’s crop of superstars. - 2pm: - ALL ELITE: THE AEW PANEL - The fan favorite panel returns! Since it’s founding in 2019, AEW has been one of the most exciting, influential, and transformative forces in the pro wrestling world. - 3pm: - …AND THEY LIVED TO WRITE ABOUT IT - A panel featuring the superstars who spent decades riding the highs and lows of the professional wrestling business and went on to tell the story. Join published authors Killer Kross, Dave Penzer, Jimmy Yang, and Chaz Warrington (Mosh) as they share their experiences in transferring their experiences in the ring onto the written page and the challenges that come with it. - 4pm: - “THEY’RE NOT DOLLS, THEY’RE ACTION FIGURES!”: - Toys and wrestling have gone hand in hand ever since WWF’s heavy, rubber Superstars hit stores in the early 80s. From Wrestling Buddies to the modern day Hasbro lines, we are obsessed with the world of action figures and colelctibles.
